Think Globally, Ride Locally
Bike or Walk

Sunday morning, September 30th could not have been a more beautiful day for the First Annual "Think Globally/Ride Locally" bike ride/walk that was held for the benefit of the "Lost Boys of the Sudan ". The Assabet River Rail Trail through Hudson and Marlboro served as a lovely backdrop for a multi-community event. Thanks to those who pulled this event together. Mary Kerr, AnnMarie Sivret, Brian Walsh, and Janet Wheeler for publicity, website, flyers, and focus. Dorothy Sonnichsen for working the registration table and Peggy Mangin-Cross for our morning coffee! Jim Wheeler for his engineering creativity in sign design/placement. Laureen DeBenedetto's Embroidery & More did a beautiful job creating the T-shirts and the Mulready Elementary School in Hudson was the perfect location for the start and finish. And, special thanks to Santino, John, Ayuen, Majok, Gai Yol, Dan, and Peter for walking/riding and providing good conversation and encouragement along the way.
